AJAY SAWHNEY, FOUNDER SKG GLOBAL

Ajay, is a self-made entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in international steel trade. Starting his career in the 1980s with projects across the Middle East, North Africa, and Russia, he later pioneered large-scale steel supplies to India from South Korea and China as well as exporting Indian origin steel to Asia and Europe.

Since 2003, he has led SKG Global to become one of the most trusted steel trading agencies, representing global leaders such as SK, Hyundai, Jindal, Viraj, and CSCEC. Today, SKG Global operates out of its offices in Gurgaon and a partner office in Wuhan, China.

Ajay also served as the only Indian shareholder and Director of CCTEB India Pvt. Ltd., delivering landmark projects including Vivo’s Greater Noida plant, Sky Mansion in Delhi, and Foxconn’s Bangalore project.

Driven by perseverance and problem-solving, he continues to guide SKG Global alongside his two sons, who are expanding the business across Asia and Europe in steel and steel coatings domains.

ADITYA SAWHNEY

Aditya is leading the 3LPE Pipe Coating materials and specialised adhesives business. Serving reputed pipe mills in India and Middle East, he has carved a stable business from scratch for the globally reputed manufacturer Guangzhou Lushan New Materials Co. Ltd., (China), one of the leading manufacturers of high performance polymers in the world.

Bhrigu Sawhney

Bhrigu is leading the cross border and domestic steel trading operations serving an array of clients across industries such as Pipe and Tubing, Distribution & Service Centre, PEB as well as Construction.

He is also Dean’s List awardee from SP Jain School of Global Management and an honorary advisor for steel to the Sino-India Chamber of Commerce (SICC).
